Thursday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” host Joe Scarborough reacted to President Donald Trump doubling down on questioning Jewish Americans’ loyalty if they vote for Democrats.
Scarborough, who the day before likened Trump questioning the Jews’ loyalty to how they were treated by Nazi Germany, said the president is blatant in repeating Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) antisemitism while also slamming her for it.
“He says it out loud,” Scarborough exclaimed. “He says it out loud. He talks about dual loyalty out loud. He says everything out loud. His people go out and defend him and say, ‘Oh, he doesn’t mean that.’ And then he says it into a microphone.”
He added, “This is dual loyalty. How fascinating that here’s a guy that ran through antisemitic tropes throughout his entire campaign, talked to Jewish groups talking about money, how basically they were money-grubbers, had put a Star of David on Hillary Clinton’s face in a retweet, talking about how Jews were trying to buy the White House.”
