Kirsten Evans, executive director of the nonprofit organization In Defense of Christians told Breitbart News Daily SiriusXM host Stephen K. Bannon, “ISIS has made very clear that their intention is the eradication of Christianity.”

She quoted the terrorist group’s threatening: “We will break your crosses. We will enslave your women.” Explaining, she said, “That was one of the reasons why we were able to get the genocide designation approved and recognized in the United States. [It] was not just because of the actions of ISIS, but because they’re publicly saying, ‘Our intention is the eradication of Christianity.'”

“Christians are being targeted in this conflict with radical Islam because of their identification with the West. We’re seeing this over and over again,” she added. A PDF formal report about the genocide against Christians is available here.

The group will be hosting “On Genocide: Preserving Christianity in the Middle East” from September 7 – 9 in Washington, DC. Registration for the event is open to the public.

Breitbart News Daily airs on SiriusXM Patriot 125 weekdays from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Eastern.
