Richard Miniter: American Media a Mindless ‘Amoeba-Like Creature that Responds’ to Democrat Talking Points

Investigative journalist and author Richard Miniter joined Breitbart News Daily SiriusXM host Raheem Kassam on Thursday to discuss media, politics, and the firing of FBI Director James Comey.

Said Miniter on reactions to Comey’s firing, “The American media no longer has a mind. It is kind of like an amoeba-like creature that responds entirely to stimuli, in this case, the Democratic Party talking points.”

“The Democratic Party basically had a fundamental choice when they were startled and learned that Comey had been fired. They could have cheered wildly because this is what they have been calling for for months and months. They wanted retaliation against Comey for the perceived slight of telling the truth about Hillary Clinton,” he continued, “and therefore costing her the election. This is in their narrative, not in reality.”

Instead, Miniter pointed out, they opted to attack Trump, “which forced them to contradict months and months of an earlier position of pure Comey rage.”
