Undercover Agents Toss Father, Son Out of Game over Beer

Going to an NFL game, even a preseason one, with one’s son should always be a memorable experience. For a father and son in attendance at the Cardinals’ game against the Cowboys on Saturday, memories will certainly abound from what was, unfortunately, a shorter than expected experience.

Season ticket holder John Coulter took his 15-year-old son to watch the game and attempted to take a picture to remember the occasion. He asked his son to simply hold onto his beer while he did so.

That was a big no no.

Undercover officers with the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control approached the man and eventually removed the father and son from the stadium.

Officials seemed to believe Coulter got off easy.

“Providing alcohol to an underage person or an underage person inpossession of alcohol is a Class 1 misdemeanor,” said Sgt. Wesley Kuhlof the Arizona Department of Liquor License and Control. “Theconsequences could be up to, and this is a maximum, of two years injail, $2,500 fine and three years probation.”
