It may be two weeks away, but many are looking at the matchup between Peyton Manning’s red-hot Broncos and the Jacksonville Jaguars as a record-setting contest.
Record for points spread that is.
Oddsmakers are already estimating that the spread could be 25 points or even as high as 28 points, which would shatter the previous record of 23.5.
Denver still has a game against Dallas while Jacksonville plays St. Louis, but there is little expectation that either of those outcomes will change what could be the ultimate David v. Goliath contest.
