Incognito Grievance Blasts Martin, Lawyer for Vilifying Him in Court of Public Opinion

Miami Dolphins lineman Richie Incognito blasted Jonathan Martin and his lawyer David Cornwell for vilifying him in the court of public opinion in a grievance that he filed with the league.

Albert Breer of NFL Network, reported that Incognito believes there was no “conduct detrimental” to the Dolphins on his part and the only conduct that was “detrimental” came from Martin’s camp.

“If any conduct has been detrimental to the team, it is the manner in which Mr. Martin’s representatives, including Mr. [David] Cornwell on behalf of his client, have elected to vilify Mr. Incognito and the entire Dolphins organization in the court of public opinion,” the grievance reportedly states.

Martin left the team and shortly thereafter accused Incognito of bullying and harassment, which included leaving him a voicemail in which Incognito threatened to kill his family, defecate in his mouth, and called him the “n-word.”
