Sarah Palin Rooting for Seahawks over SF

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will be rooting against House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s San Francisco 49ers and for the Seattle Seahawks in Sunday’s colossal NFC title bout.

Appearing on Hannity on Friday on Fox News, Palin said, when asked about her football picks this weekend, “Oh, I love Seattle. They’re closest to Alaska.”

Palin, unlike Pelosi, is not swayed by 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s “big arms” and tattoos and is rooting for the scrappy Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson, who, like Palin, scrambles, motivates, and finds a way to always win with the best of them despite having been underestimated at every level.

Palin is not a Seattle bandwagon jumper–she was a Seahawks fan long before Seattle drafted Russell Wilson and Seattle’s 12th man rivaled her supporters as the fiercest base of support in America.

In 2008, Palin revealed that she and her husband Todd were members of the Seahawkers, which is the Seahawks fan club in Alaska.
