Former Chicago Blackhawk great Jeremy Roenick was not only the king of the ice, he appears to have a future as a snake tamer. A video has surfaced showing Roenick capturing a dangerous rattlesnake using only two golf clubs.

Roenick posted the video to his Twitter account with a caption reading, “Relaxing Sunday morning! What happens when you live in Arizona.”

The video shows Roenick corralling and pinning the snake down with the clubs. He then reaches down with a gloved hand and grabs the hissing reptile behind its head as his wife stands a suitable distance away yelling “don’t pick him up.”

Roenick waves the snake toward the camera saying, “That’s how you catch a rattler,” as the person filming says, ““You’re a psycho. You’re a psycho.” The player eventually tosses the snake over a wall on his property with the snake rattling away the whole time.

The former NHL player also pointed out that he didn’t kill the snake that had invaded his garage.
