David Eaton, the NFL Network’s Vice President and Executive Editor for NFL Media, whose tweets to porn stars and escorts became public last week; has resigned his position.

In a statement to Deadspin, NFL Network spokesman Alex Riethmiller said: “Last night David Eaton tendered his resignation from NFL Media effective immediately.”

Last week, dozens of salacious interactions between Eaton and porn stars, became public. Initially, Eaton merely deleted the interactions. However, eventually, Eaton deleted his entire account.

Eaton’s story is just one of the sexual harassment/misconduct issues facing the NFL Network. Analysts Marshall Faulk, Heath Evans, and Ike Taylor have been suspended by the network, pending an investigation into sexual harassment claims by a former employee.
