It’s not unusual for NBA players to dunk over obstacles, when trying to impress the judges enough to win the NBA dunk contest. However, it is unusual to see players dunk over human obstacles standing over 7-feet-tall.
That’s exactly what Hamidou Diallo did on Saturday night.
According to Sports Illustrated, “Before his second dunk of the night, Diallo ripped open his jersey to reveal a Superman shirt underneath. He then got some serious air and jumped over Shaq (7’1″) en route to the basket. Diallo polished it off with a nod to Vince Carter’s famous 2000 elbow dunk by hanging with his elbow in the rim.”

Diallo also jumped over rapper Quavo:

Jumping over Shaq is obviously a bigger achievement. But hey, dunking over any human is pretty major.
