ICE, Texas Cops Arrest Elementary School Volunteer on Child Porn Charges

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) special agents and Corpus Christi police officers arrested 42-year-old Benjamin Thomas Milfet, a PTA Board Member and Mireles Elementary School volunteer, for the alleged possession of child pornography.  A search warrant executed on Milfet’s property revealed a cellphone allegedly belonging to the suspect contained more than 2,000 images of child sex abuse materials, according to an ICE media release.

Texas Teen Mentor Convicted on Child Pornography Charges

A Texas teen mentor and founder of a nonprofit youth organization pleaded guilty Monday to the charge of sexual exploitation of a child, also known as production of child pornography, announced Abe Martinez, acting U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Texas.

Texas AG Gets Court Order to Stop Sale of Synthetic Drugs

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s office announced he has obtained a temporary restraining order (TRO) against three tobacco stores to stop them from selling synthetic marijuana. The move by the state’s attorney general was made in conjunction with the City of Corpus Christi Police Department.
