Investigators: Fire at U. of Delaware Jewish Student Center Was Arson

Investigators stated this week that a fire set at the University of Delaware’s Chabad Center for Jewish Life was set intentionally. Although the local fire marshal has yet to declare that the fire is a hate crime, the state has launched an ongoing arson investigation. The fire, which burned for 45 minutes before it was extinguished, caused approximately $75,000 worth of damage.

Republican Lawmakers Introduce Resolution Affirming Jewish Ties to Jerusalem

Following the Trump administration’s decision to withdraw the United States from the U.N.’s educational, scientific, and cultural body (UNESCO) over it’s anti-Israel bias, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) introduced a resolution that “recognizes and affirms the historical connection of the Jewish people to the ancient and sacred city of Jerusalem.”
