Matthews: If Miners Were Tea Partiers They Would Have Killed Each Other

It’s 16 days until November 2nd and the left is out of ideas. Scared of a country run by businessmen, scientists, nurses, momma grizzlies, and a few lawyers, the left’s commentary is dripping with fear laced with insanity. The Chile miner rescue is a story that has fascinated the world. Reports that over a billion people tuned in to watch the heroic effort to bring those men to the surface. If there is a story out there that could be completely devoid of any partisan or political commentary it would be this one.

But it’s 16 days until the election, and that means the left cannot take a break from pounding the conservatives because every second counts! They are losing their own Democrat candidates by the day and losing supporters by the minute. It’s left up to the media, the gatekeepers of information, to inform the public that something terribly wrong is going to happen on November 3rd if the left loses and these crazy Tea Party people make it into power.

Matthews decides to have on ALF-CIO thug-in-chief Richard Trumka, because since he gets paid upwards of $200,000 per year, he represents blue collar “working people.” Matthews implies that the “lesson learned” from the mining incident is, “The message from the Tea Party is… every man for himself… if these people were every man for himself they would have… been killing each other after two days.” Actually, the message of the Tea Party is taking personal responsibility. That is a very different concept than “every man for himself.” When one takes personal responsibility for their actions, when they take care of themselves and their families, that leaves them free to be able to take care of others. Matthews also ignores that this is probably the most peaceful political movement in American history. Thousands of Tea Party rallies have occurred with no violence.

Matthews insults the families of the miners by invoking his petty partisanship games into a tragic event. He insults the Tea Party with his intellectual dishonesty by implying them to be murderers waiting to happen. But it’s 16 days until the election, all sanity, facts, and intelligent discourse are out the window. The left is in the final days of their fight with enemy and they see their demise coming in the form of ballots.
