Report: 'Furious' CBS Anchor Buries States Dept. Sex Scandal

Page Six reports that CBS News anchor Scott Pelley and his executive producer chose not to broadcast a report about the State Department sex scandal on the CBS Evening News. Apparently, both men were angry over the fact that the story broke on the CBS Morning Show instead of the on their show.

Pelley claims this is not true and that there just wasn’t enough time to air the sex scandal report.

Whatever the truth is, it is Pelley’s claim about time constraints that is most troubling.

If true, it shows that his priorities have a funny way of protecting Hillary Clinton, even from a major scoop his own network broke.
