Video: IRON BOWL SHOCKER: Auburn Dethrones Alabama on 109-Yd Return for TD After Missed FG

An Iron Bowl that was billed as the most important in the history of the storied and hated rivalry not only lived up to the billing, but had one of the greatest endings in the history of college football at Auburn.

In a game that exemplified Auburn's refuse-to-die season, Auburn's Chris Davis returned a missed 57-yard Alabama field goal attempt 109 yards for a touchdown as time expired to give Auburn an improbable, miraculous, and dramatic 34-28 win for the ages over the No. 1 ranked team in the country that was going for a dynastic third straight BCS title.

Auburn, a team that had no conference wins a year ago, will now go to the SEC title game and play No. 5 Missouri next Saturday in Atlanta. This was the first "winner-take-all" Iron Bowl since the SEC championship was instituted.

In an improbable series of events, the game seemed headed to overtime tied at 28 when replay officials decided one second remained on the clock when Alabama's T.J. Yeldon stepped out of bounds around the Auburn 39-yard line.

That is a second Alabama now wishes they never got back.
