FBI Admits It Interviewed Big Brother Boston Marathon Bombing Suspect

Late Friday, the FBI finally admitted that it had interviewed Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the older Boston Marathon bombing suspect who was killed by police early Friday morning. The FBI reversed itself after the Tsarnaevs’ mother, Zubeidat, told Russia Today that her son had been monitored by the FBI on Skype, and actually spoke with him “every step of the way.” 19 Apr 2013

Sixty Remain Missing in West, Texas

On Friday, Texas Department of Public Safety spokesman Jason Reyes reported a wide disparity between the number of people known dead in West, Texas, and the number who remain missing. While only twelve deaths were confirmed by Reyes in the fertilizer plant explosion that devastated the small town, at least sixty people are missing according to Senator John Cornyn (R-TX), who told the press, “We still don’t know the extent of their loss.” 19 Apr 2013
