Poll: Wisconsin Race Tightens

PPP's final poll on the Wisconsin recall finds Scott Walker ahead, but also a race that's tightening. Walker leads Tom Barrett 50-47. That's down from 50-45 on a PPP poll conducted three weeks ago, and it's also down from a 52-45 lead that Walker posted in a Marquette Law poll released last week. 4 Jun 2012

WI Recall: SEIU Boss Manhandles New Media Camera

The Wisconsin-based MacIver Institute has been one of the New Media heroes on the ground during this entire Wisconsin recall mess, and in the video below, you'll see that the frustration anti-Walker forces feel towards New Media is at first amusing, as SEIU executive Bruce Colburn whines to the crowd specifically about New Media. But in the video's second half, things turn a little frightening, as Colburn physically manhandles a camera held by a MacIver reporter. 4 Jun 2012

RNC Rips Obama Over Anna Wintour's Elitist Fundraising Video

Last Friday, someone named Anna Wintour starred in a fundraising video for the Obama campaign promoting your opportunity to have dinner with her (Wintour is the editor-in-chief of Vogue, if you must know), actress Sarah Jessica Parker, and President and Mrs. Obama. This, while unemployment rose to 8.2%, job growth dropped to its lowest level in a year, and Wall Street wiped out all its 2012 gains. 4 Jun 2012

WI Tea Party Rally Attracts Much Bigger Crowd Than Clinton Rally

Glossed over in this Associated Press report about Friday's Wisconsin recall rally starring former President Bill Clinton is the fact that only "hundreds" showed up. Not only is Gov. Scott Walker's Democrat opponent, Tom Barrett, the mayor of that great city, but Milwaukee represents one of two liberal strongholds in the state -- the other being Madison. By contrast, at yesterday's pro-Walker rally in Racine, somewhere around 4,000 showed up. 3 Jun 2012

Anti-Walker Group Intimidates Voters With Mailer

The Greater Wisconsin Political Fund is a 527 political organization, but it is stridently anti-Scott Walker and over the past couple of days Wisconsin residents have been receiving very disturbing mailings that not only attempt to shame you and your neighbors into voting, but also threaten to publicly shame you if you don’t vote in the June 5 recall election. 2 Jun 2012

51% Ratings Collapse: Time To Put CNN Out Of Our Misery

While prime-time numbers for all the cable news networks were off from May of last year — MSNBC was down 19 percent and Fox News Channel dropped 9 percent — CNN was hit the hardest. In addition to its prime-time woes, CNN also had its second-lowest-rated month in 20 years in the “money” news demo of adults 25-54. 2 Jun 2012

Breitbart Was There: Telling WI Union Thugs to 'Go to Hell'

Andrew's (and Governor Palin's) fearlessness -- their willingness to walk right up to the bully and pop him in the mouth -- this was a grassroots game-changer. If some Jewish guy from Southern California is willing to fight this fight, then by God we are going to fight this fight. 1 Jun 2012

Politico Spins: 'Obama's Good News-Bad News Economy'

Last quarter's GDP has just been revised down to 1.9%, job creation in May is not only down to 69,000 but at the lowest number in a year, and the unemployment rate shot up to 8.2% -- making this the 40th month in a row over 8%. This isn't just THE political news of the day, it's an earthquake. But how does MSNBC's unofficial web branch at Politico report the news? 1 Jun 2012

Team Romney Uses Obama's Media Pals To Hit Him With Solyndra

We're not listening to some ominous voiceover reading off a script telling us that Obama poured millions of our tax dollars down an absurdly risky rathole. Instead, it's Obama's own Media Palace Guards -- CNN's John King and ABC's George Stephanopoulos, telling us this. 1 Jun 2012
