Five days after Breitbart News reported that President Barack Obama had not scheduled plans to attend or send representatives to any of the funerals of the 14 San Bernardino attack victims, the White House announced that the President has added a Friday stop on his way to Hawaiian holiday to visit–sans media–with some of the grieving families.

The FBI continues to investigate the December 2 terror attack, which also left 22 people injured.

“While he is en route to Honolulu, the president wil stop in San Bernardino, California to visit privately with the families of the victrims of the terror attack in San Bernardino earlier this month,” White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said on Wednesday according to USA Today. Earnest likened the visit to one Obama made after the October 1 shooting at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon. The visit was slotted into Obama’s West Coast fundraising tour.

In reacting to both the San Bernardino attack andthe Roseburg attack–which occurred in a “gun free facility”–Obama focused on gun control.

Obama personally delivered the eulogy for victims of a racist mass murderer in Charles, South Carolina. He sent representatives to the funerals of Black Lives Matter poster child Michael Brown, and to the funeral of Freddie Gray of Baltimore. Obama also met with the parents of Trayvon Martin on the third anniversary of Martin’s death.

There has still been no report of White House representatives visiting the funerals for the 14 victims of the San Bernardino terror attacks.
