If Boehner uses tax dollars to keep funding Planned Parenthood, Meadows says, he will be publicly supporting that organization’s activities including its selling of aborted baby body parts to the highest bidder.

Boehner: Meadows’ Motion Not Deserving Of A Vote

“Listen you’ve got a member here and a member their who are off the reservation, no big deal,” Boehner told reporters in response to questions about recent conservative attacks on House and Senate leadership. Tuesday evening Meadows introduced a motion to vacate the chair in an act of defiance against Boehner’s leadership.

This move comes after Speaker Boehner’s leadership team unsuccessfully attempted retaliation against Meadows for opposing Obamatrade. They had tried to pull a subcommittee chairmanship from Meadows—and did so, but then reversed themselves under enormous pressure from the GOP conference and the American people, turning Meadows into a conservative movement hero of sorts.
