Former GE CEO Jack Welch declared “as of today, I’m a Ted Cruz guy” on Thursday’s “Your World with Neil Cavuto” on the Fox News Channel.
“As of today, I’m a Ted Cruz guy, but I’ll watch for the debates, but I like Ted [Cruz]” he stated.
Welch added, “this country needs more truth and trust, Ted Cruz says what he’s going to do, and he does it. And he’s a smart as a whip. And he’s a good bet-on right now.”
Welch did conclude by saying that he wants Cruz to “smile more, cause he’s a hell of a good guy. He’s a great guy,” and eventually develop Ronald Reagan’s “touch.”
