Wilco, an alternative American rock band, canceled its upcoming show in Indianapolis because of Indiana’s controversial Religious Freedom Restoration Act.
The band tweeted Monday afternoon, “We’re canceling our 5/7 show in Indianapolis. ‘Indiana Religious Freedom Restoration Act’ feels like thinly disguised legal discrimination.”
According to the website Live forLive Music, the remainder of Wilco’s scheduled tour remains in tact, and the band promised to return to Indiana if the law is repealed.

Hope to get back to the Hoosier State someday soon, when this odious measure is repealed. Refunds available at point of purchase.
