Longtime Trump trasher and standup comedian Patton Oswalt thinks the leading GOP presidential candidate is a “vengeful bully” who is disingenuously claiming to be a “First Amendment victim.”
“He is an ignorant, vengeful, racist asshole who is going, ‘Oh yeah, me too,'” Oswalt says of Trump, who has been criticized by large swaths of the media over his politically incorrect stump speeches and his stance on issues like immigration and Islam.
“No, your shit should get criticized, because there’s no satire to it, and there’s no thought to it,” Oswalt said in an interview with the Daily Beast.
Oswalt’s disdain for Donald Trump dates back at least to 2011.

For years, the 47-year-old comedian has been airing his grievances with Trump via Twitter.
Not surprisingly, however, Oswalt, who also supported President Barack Obama, is a big fan of Bernie Sanders.
“I love Bernie’s message, I love what he’s doing,” he said. “But I’m also not one of these ‘Bernie or bust’ people.”
“If Hillary gets the nomination, I’ll vote for Hillary,” said Oswalt.
When it comes to Hillary Clinton and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s failed attempt to make a racially-charged “color people time” joke, Oswalt gives them a pass.
“I don’t even know if they’re racist, they’re just not funny,” Oswalt said. “They don’t know how to tell a fucking joke. And that’s why it flopped.”
