In light of the recent terrorist attack in Sochi and the continued threats against the Winter Olympic Games, could it be that Russia is our best ally against radical Muslims in any form?
Is Russia with a different Constitution and a more direct approach to dealing with enemies the ally of convenience we need? Security expert Bill Rathburn a former police chief in Los Angeles and Dallas had this to say to Yahoo News.
“The security threat is higher than it’s ever been in the history of the Olympic Games,” Rathburn told Yahoo News. “In my opinion, it’s not a matter of whether there will be some incident, it’s just a matter of how bad it’s going to be.”
Vladimir Putin the president of Russia would likely respond brutally and in spite of potential collateral damage likely effectively in rooting out and even killing terrorists. I’m not a fan of Vladimir Putin and yes his methods may be brutal but you can’t send angels to fight devils. Radical Muslims will only stop when they’re dead. This is their history, we have to make it our reality.
