Cowherd: Jameis Winston, Robert Griffin III, Johnny Manziel Have No ‘Self-Awareness’

During Tuesday’s broadcast of “You Herd Me with Colin Cowherd” on ESPNU and ESPN Radio, host Colin Cowherd responded to the reports that ex-Florida State quarterback and 2015 NFL draft hopeful Jameis Winston has filed to trademark “Famous Jameis,” which is a nickname he was given during his two-year stint at Florida State, where he won a national championship and a Heisman Trophy and only lost the final game of his 27 games as a starter.

According to Cowherd, Winston, along with Robert Griffin III and Johnny Manziel, has no self-awareness.

“For me it’s self-awareness,” Cowherd said. “Like Johnny Manziel has no self awareness. He lives in a little echo chamber around his frat boys who are laughing and telling him how smart he is. RGIII has no self awareness. Jameis Winston has no self awareness. It is a big factor for me with human beings. If you don’t know your faults and you don’t know your weaknesses it scares me. And I look at Jameis Winston; he doesn’t even get it. Johnny Manziel doesn’t even get it. He doesn’t even get how he’s viewed. We all have faults. We all make mistakes.”
