Monday, Fox Sports 1 host Colin Cowherd brought up on “The Herd” how people have made a big deal about GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump’s taxes.
Cowherd said debates should be more about American issues instead of Trump’s taxes, reasoning the nominee used a legal tax break.
“I’m so over the Trump tax issue,” Cowherd said to open his show. “Folks, he took a legal tax break. Don’t spend an hour of the 90-minute debate on Trump’s taxes. I don’t care, no business man cares. Get to the stuff that matters about Americans — not his taxes. And stop with this goofy ‘rich people don’t pay any taxes’ baloney. The data’s out. You do, they do. A lot. Corporate tax in America is more than most in the civilized world. Stop.”
