Tuesday during a Facebook live event telecasted on the Democratic Party’s page, Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) said the what Republicans are doing with their health care bill was “sick.”
Franken said, “It’s wrong and it was scored by 22 million people losing — and premiums would shoot up for people that are older. Now they are playing around with this Cruz amendment, and it is really bad because basically, it will be the end of protecting people with pre-existing conditions.”
He added, “This is sick. What they are doing is sick.”
