The Music of David Lynch” will take place April 1 at the Theatre at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles. Performers include My Morning Jacket’s Jim James, Yeah Yeah Yeah’s Karen O, and the Flaming Lips’ Wayne Coyne and Steve Drozd, who will all play interpretations of Lynch’s music.

The David Lynch Foundation‘s work includes bringing “transcendental meditation to at-risk populations suffering from PTSD.”

The David Lynch Foundation offers the Operation Warrior Wellness initiative to veterans suffering from PTSD. The initiative includes the Resilient Warrior Program, a transcendental meditation-rooted, “simple, easy-to-learn, evidence-based approach to relieving symptoms of PTSD and major depression and developing greater resilience to stress.”

Tickets for the event are already sold out, although $1,000 VIP tickets are still available.
