Katy Perry has landed the July cover of Forbes magazine as one of the world’s highest paid celebrities of 2015, and says she is proud of her accomplishments.

The singer took to her Instagram page Monday night to explain why she agreed to pose for the cover, and also offered an inspirational message to women.

“Before accepting the offer to be on the cover of Forbes, I was told that a lot of women have previously shied away from doing it,” she wrote. “I wondered if it was because they thought socially it would look like they were flaunting or bragging or it wasn’t a humble decision.”

The “Roar” singer says there is no shame in celebrating hard work and success, and has a message for all women.

“Ladies, there is a difference between being humble and working hard to see the fruits of your labor blossom, and your dreams realized. Hopefully this cover can be an inspiration to women out there that it’s okay to be proud of hard earned success and that there is no shame in being a boss,” she continued.

Forbes reports Perry played 124 concerts in 27 different countries last year, earning her $135 million.

The pop star landed spot number three on the mag’s Celebrity 100 list, which measures the earnings of the highest paid entertainers for the past 12 months, per People.

Perry hasn’t limited herself to making music, though, as she has deals with Coty, Claire’s, and Covergirl.

She also has a mobile game coming out in the fall.

How did Katy Perry celebrate her latest achievement? She went straight to Taco Bell to get her hands on a crunch wrap supreme, she says.
