VIDEO: Farage Launches Local Election Campaign

WESTMINSTER, London, UK – Nigel Farage, the leader of the UK Independence Party this morning launched his party’s local election campaign wherein he stated that the party would win “hundreds of seats… or I will look rather stupid”.

Farage was flanked by other leading UKIP figures including Paul Nuttall, Suzanne Evans, and Peter Reeve.

Talking about the Conservative-Labour status quo in most councils across the country, Reeve joked about how when UKIP councillors were first elected, the incumbents were surprised and offended that “ordinary people” could have found their way into positions of power.

“We are the people from the pub who have come to tell the other parties how to do it,” he said.
