48 Hours In Baltimore: 7 Shot, 3 Killed

On April 29 two men were shot and killed in Baltimore, and April 30 witnessed the shooting of five more, one of whom died.

Since Monday alone there have been “six homicides.”

According to The Baltimore Sun, 28-year-old Andre Hunt was shot and killed on Wednesday, as was 26-year-old Davon William Johnson. Police are still searching for a motive and suspects in the deaths.

Thursday’s shootings began around lunchtime when “a 22-year-old man [was] shot in the head and a 23-year-old man [was] shot in the stomach.” Both shootings took place in the area of “the 800 block of McKean Ave.” The man shot in the head died, the man shot in his stomach received treatment for his wounds.

At dinner time–approximately 6 pm–“a 19-year-old man was shot in the neck and a 20-year-old man was shot in the abdomen.” Both shootings took place in Dorchester.

The final shooting of the day happened around 8:30 pm. “in the 1000 block of Mosher St.” This last victim–another 19-year-old man–was shot in the back. He survived and police are investigating.
