Florida Senator and Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio said that people should be more outraged over Planned Parenthood’s actions than they are over the death of Cecil the lion in an interview with TMZ on Friday.
Rubio said that whatever the laws are in Zimbabwe, they should be followed, and that he doesn’t know a lot of about details of Cecil’s killing.
Rubio then declared, “Everyone’s fired up…about this lion, people should be more fired up about those babies, that are coming out in the Planned Parenthood videos too.”
He added, “Well, if people are going to be outraged about an animal being killed, they should also be outraged about human beings being killed, which we’re seeing in those Planned Parenthood videos.”
