Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump jokingly says, “Ben Carson is a complete and total loser” in a promo for his upcoming appearance on Saturday Night Live.
Trump is scheduled to host the show on Nov. 7, and from the looks of several new teasers, he is already having some fun with the gig.
During one promo, cast member Cecily Strong, who headlined this year’s White House Correspondents’ Association dinner in April, tells viewers that due to “equal time” laws, Trump only has four seconds to speak.
Trump uses the allotted time to poke fun at Dr. Ben Carson, who is challenging his status as the Republican Party’s frontrunner, according to a new poll.
“So let me just say this, Ben Carson is a complete and total loser,” quips Trump.
He can also be seen charming Saturday Night Live female cast members, Strong and Sasheer Zamata, who complain about a lack of “real men” on the show.
“I wish there were some real men around here, ya know?” says Strong.
“I would kill for a real man,” Zamata concurs.

A number of Hispanic groups have announced plans to boycott the show amid calls for NBC to cancel Trump’s appearance. TheWrap reports the National Hispanic Media Coalition will join more than a dozen other Latino organizations to protest outside the show Wednesday.
Monday, Rep. Loretta Sanchez told CNN that Saturday Night Live is “endangering Latinos” by allowing Trump to host an episode.
“It is enabling him after he’s said these derogatory comments,” Sanchez told CNN’s Brooke Baldwin. “We are simply pushing back at SNL and saying, ‘Uh uh, this is not correct, and you are endangering Latinos when you do this type of of a thing.’”
Hispanic actress Eva Longoria, meanwhile, recently defended NBC’s decision to invite Trump, saying it is a matter of “freedom of speech.”
“He has his right — not only that, [SNL executive producer] Lorne Michaels has a right to book whoever he wants,” said Longoria.
Trump will host SNL Saturday, Nov. 7, at 11:30 pm ET, with music guest Sia also performing.
