Nearly half of likely Democratic voters would like to see Vermont socialist Bernie Sanders replace Hillary Clinton on the Democratic ticket should her poor health force her out of the race, Rasmussen Reports finds.

Only 14 percent of likely Democratic voters said former Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine should replace her, while 22 percent wanted Vice President Joe Biden at the top of the ticket.

Among all likely voters, 36 percent think Sanders should replace Clinton should she be forced to step down, and 20 percent back Biden.

Forty-six percent of all voters polled were tired of coverage of Clinton’s poor health, while 28 percent said the media hasn’t covered it enough.

Rasmussen Reports polled 1,000 likely voters from Sept. 14 to Sept. 15. The survey has a margin of error of plus or minus three percentage points.
