President Donald Trump will donate his second quarter salary to the Small Business Administration.

As President of the United States, Trump’s quarterly salary is $100,000 of the $400,000 he earns annually.

Small Business administrator Linda McMahon appeared at the White House press briefing to accept the donation.

“I would like to thank the president for his generosity and for his support of the Small Business Administration,” McMahon said.

She stated that the money would be used to help veterans transition from the military into the private sector.

“It will be put to very good use,” she said.

Trump donated his 2018 first quarter salary to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
