Phil Bredesen Leaves Tennessee for NYC Fundraiser with Gun Controller Michael Bloomberg

It seems like only weeks ago that Senate candidate Phil Bredesen (D) was boasting of his support for gun rights yet he is now in New York City attending a fundraiser with gun control proponent Michael Bloomberg.

In fact, as recently as September 21, Bredesen was running an ad that gave the impression he had an A-rating from the NRA. The NRA-ILA’s Chris Cox quickly responded to Bredesen by asking him to “stop lying.” Cox pointed out that Bredesen’s true rating is a D.

Now, New York Times correspondent Jonathan Martin reports Bredesen is in New York for a “glitzy fundraiser” with gun control extraordinaire Michael Bloomberg.

New York City is a long way from Tennessee.
