Lara Trump, wife of Eric Trump, discussed the 2016 election, as well as the Women for Trump tour, with Breitbart News Daily SiriusXM host Alex Marlow on Wednesday, saying she would like to see a woman become president, but not Hillary Clinton.

“As a woman, I think all women would agree that we will see a woman be president of this country one day. We’d love to see that because it is getting to be about time,” she said. “But Hillary Clinton would be such a poor choice as a president,” she continued.

“We want a woman that we can be proud of, that all women can look up to. And if you look at how stained Hillary’s past is, it’s such a shame to think that she is the first [female] nominee for president,” she concluded.

Ms. Trump said she thought it would be a “disservice” for Hillary to become the first female United States president.

Breitbart News Daily airs on SiriusXM Patriot 125 weekdays from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Eastern.
