Bar Owner Picks Up $100K Champagne Tab for Heat Players

An owner of a Miami nightclub said he is not going to charge the Miami Heat for their $100,000 champagne tab they ran up on Friday while partying after they won back-to-back titles over the San Antonio Spurs.

“I’m not going to charge the Heat,” David Grutman, owner of the Story nightclub, said

Last year, the Heat, when LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh won their first title together, ran up a $200,000 tab.

The club sells 3-liter bottles of Dom Perignon champagne for $5,000.
