Report: Chris Paul to Sign $107 Million Extension

Los Angeles Clippers superstar Chris Paul is expected to agree to terms on a $107 million extension that will keep in him Los Angeles for another five years.

Though he cannot sign the contract until July 10, he can agree to terms on Monday, and his agent has reportedly told teams that even though Paul considered leaving Los Angeles that other teams should no longer bother to court him. After Los Angeles hired Doc Rivers, Paul’s decision to remain in Los Angeles was made easier. 

Paul and Blake Griffin, who signed a five-year extension last year, will be the foundation for the Clippers franchise that has generated more buzz of late than the storied Lakers.
