Goodell: We 'Have to Listen' to Opponents of Redskins Name

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said the NFL has to listen to people opposed to the Redskins name and they are “doing that.”

According to the Associated Press, he said this weekend, “We have to listen to people with a different viewpoint and we are doing that.”

Goodell had previously said that even if one person were offended by the Redskins name, the NFL had to listen. The NFL will reportedly meet with opponents of the name this week.
