Denver Post: Manning Legacy May Be Tarnished with Another Playoff Loss

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has won a Super Bowl and set the single-season record for passing yards and touchdown passes this year.

But the cover of Sunday’s Denver Post‘s sports section posits whether Manning’s 9-11 career playoff record puts his legacy in question if the Broncos lose to the Chargers on Sunday:

Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has been heavenly during the regular season, but merely mortal in the postseason with a 9-11 record that ranks poorly among the all-time greats.

Manning and the Broncos suffered a heartbreaking 38-35 double-overtime loss to the Ravens at Denver last year in the AFC Divisional Playoffs.
