A radio station in San Francisco is urging 49ers fans to boycott products made in the state of Washington until after the NFC title game between San Francisco and Seattle on Sunday.
After the Seahawks prevented anyone from California from purchasing tickets to the game on the primary market, 105.3 FM in San Francisco did not air music from Seattle-based bands and then urged fans to boycott companies like Boeing, Starbucks, Microsoft, Nordstrom and Amazon.com
A spokesman reportedly later said the calls for boycotts were tongue in cheek when pressed.
