A report from an ESPN affiliate in Las Vegas claims that Johnny Manziel showed up in Sin City on Saturday night wearing a blonde wig, a fake mustache, glasses, and a hoodie.
According to ESPN’s local radio affiliate, “Manziel introduced himself as ‘Billy.’ He was there into the 3am hour and when it came time to pay the bill, he asked to have it comped because he didn’t bring cash and also didn’t want to put it on his card. However, the sources tell us he ended up paying with his card and signing the check.”
ESPN’s radio affiliate continued that Manziel and his group found a table in a dark area in the club where they could remain relatively incognito.
USA Today reported that Manziel was seen dining and gambling at Las Vegas’ Planet Hollywood casino on Saturday night, the night before the Browns’ season-ending loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday in Cleveland. According to The Washington Post, Manziel didn’t attend a concussion protocol session at the Browns’ facility scheduled for Sunday morning. In 2014, Manziel overslept the day of the season finale after partying with teammate Josh Gordon.
No pictures have yet surfaced of Manziel in his bewigged glory, which may not be surprising because photography remains frowned upon in many casinos. Manziel snapped a picture of himself with his dog, a shot that he claimed he took on Saturday night in Avon, Ohio, that he posted on social media.
