A reporter with a Philadelphia news station took strong exception to a Saints fan who worked in a “Who dat?” during his live broadcast.
Fox 29 reporter Chris O’Connell chose Bourbon Street as the backdrop for his live hit before the Eagles took on the Saints on Sunday afternoon. During his report, O’Connell presented a “New Foleans” Eagles tee shirt to give the fans back home an example of what Philly fans were wearing in the “Big Easy.”
At one point, O’Connell’s display caught the attention of a Saints fan who walked into the camera shot and delivered that favorite of Saints fans sayings: “Who dat?”
O’Connell decided, however, that he could not let this stand and decided to remind the fan that the Eagles are still the champs.

For some reason, O’Connell felt the need to apologize for the exchange:
Sorry.. lost my cool.. https://t.co/7gcYlGJ5PS

O’Connell’s interaction with random Saints fans was far more entertaining than anything having to do with those t-shirts. The winner of the Eagles-Saints game will face the Rams in the NFC Championship Game next weekend.
