Draft night can produce a wide, varying mix of reactions. Some fans rejoice upon hearing their team’s first round draft selection. Other people, do what Giants fans did last night.
With the Giants on the clock with the sixth overall pick and a strong need to find Eli Manning’s successor, most fans and media expected New York to select Ohio State’s Dwayne Haskins. Instead, they shocked the football watching world, by taking Duke’s Daniel Jones.
Giants fans did not handle it well:

Of course, there’s still every possibility that Daniel Jones will develop into a great NFL quarterback. However, for now, Giants Twitter is a very dangerous place to be.
