Putin Makes First Visit to Belarus in over Three Years

Russian President Vladimir Putin made his first visit to Belarus in more than three years on Monday, using one of his few journeys outside Russia since the beginning of the Ukraine invasion to shore up his relationship with Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko and pressure Belarus to pour its own troops into the Ukrainian quagmire.

Putin Stripped of Taekwondo Black Belt After ‘Brutal Attacks’ on Ukraine

World Taekwondo condemned Russian President Vladimir Putin’s “brutal attacks on innocent lives in Ukraine” on Sunday, and as a result will take back an honorary black belt given to the Russian leader in 2013, and also will no longer allow the display of Russian and Belarusian flags and the playing of their national anthems at future events.
