Mike Pence as his running mate in a tweet on Friday, but the two appeared together for the first time in New York City on Saturday morning, where the billionaire touted the duo as the “law and order candidates.”

30,000 Parade Through Manhattan in Support of Israel Despite Rain

Despite a persistent downpour of rain some 30,000 people marched through New York on Sunday in the annual Celebrate Israel Parade. Hosted by the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York, the parade, which featured floats with dancers, bands, and performers, made its way through Manhattan from 52nd Street to 74th Street.

MS-13 Gang Member Murdered a Young Mother and 2-Year-Old

A MS-13 gang member was sentenced to 45 years in federal prison for his part in murdering a 19-year-old mother and her 2-year-old son. Rene Mendez Mejia, who goes by the name “Zorro,” lured Vanessa Argueta and her son, Diego Torres into a secluded wooded area in Central Islip, New York, on February 5, 2010. Two other MS-13 members were with him when they executed the pair.

Donald Trump Still Enjoying Majority Support in New York

According to a round of recent polls, Trump is on the verge of doing something he hasn’t yet accomplished this primary campaign; win an outright majority of the votes cast in the Republican nomination. A new poll from Fox News, released Sunday, shows Trump leading his Republican challengers with 54 percent support in the Empire State. Ohio Governor John Kasich is second, with 22 percent followed by Texas Sen. Ted Cruz with 15 percent.
