Snapchat, a social media platform particularly popular with young people, says it will stop promoting President Donald Trump’s account on its Discover feature, saying the president incites “racial violence and injustice” in a statement on Wednesday morning. Trump Campaign Manager Brad Parscale replied: “If you’re a conservative, they do not want to hear from you, they do not want you to vote. They view you as a deplorable and they do not want you to exist on their platform.”

Police: Man Created Fake Facebook Profile for ‘Hoax Threat’ Against Ahmaud Arbery Supporters

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) recently announced that it had arrested a 20-year-old man for allegedly making threats towards supporters of Ahmaud Arbery that authorities have labeled a “hoax.” Rawshawn Smith allegedly created a Facebook profile under another person’s name to threaten a “mass shooting” of Arbery supporters. He has been charged with the dissemination of information relating to terroristic acts.

According to a recent report, criminals including drug traffickers, extortionists, and even bank robbers continue to post clues about their crimes on social media platforms such as Facebook. According to one retired New York City detective, “The ‘look at me’ generation can’t help themselves.”
