Swanton Sector Border Patrol agents arrested a Colombian migrant in Vermont for allegedly smuggling a group of Mexican migrants across the Canadian border. The Colombian migrant illegally entered the U.S. in Texas just over a year ago and was released by the Biden administration on immigration parole.
Swanton Sector Border Patrol agents arrested a Mexican national illegally in possession of a shotgun near the Canadian border with Vermont, according to court documents obtained by Breitbart Texas. The Mexican man admitted to illegally entering the U.S. approximately 20 years ago.
A Mexican national living in New York pleaded not guilty to charges of attempting to transport a group of Mexican migrants who had just crossed the border from Canada into Vermont. Border Patrol agents found the man in an area near the border where six Mexican nationals had just been apprehended.
