Wikipedia Editors Label ICE Detention Centers ‘Concentration Camps’

In the midst of the controversy over the detention of illegal immigrants and characterizations of it as a “family separation” policy, Wikipedia editors added a section about detention facilities for illegal immigrants to a page listing “concentration and internment camps.” Although the section violated several of the site’s policies, favorable coverage from Gizmodo and Vice followed three days later.

Vice Media Fires Three For Sexual Misconduct

The long-rumored reckoning at the left-wing Vice Media appears to be underway. Three employees were fired Thursday for conduct ranging from “verbal and sexual harassment to other behavior that is inconsistent with our policies,” reads an internal memo first reported by the left-wing CNN.

Islam forbids drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes, but rumors have spread for months indicating that members of the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL) terrorist groups engage in drug use. Those rumors were at least in part confirmed by a discovery this week when VICE journalist Joakim Medin identified cocaine in the house of dead Islamic State leader Emir Abu Zahra just south of Kobane, Syria.
