Instagram has restored popular conservative commentator and author Lauren Southern’s account, claiming it was removed “mistakenly.”
“We mistakenly suspended her account and we apologize for the inconvenience caused. We have restored the account,” declared an Instagram spokesman in an email to Breitbart Tech.
Southern announced her suspension from the social network earlier on Tuesday.

Instagram’s parent company Facebook has previously suspended Southern in “error,” while Patreon also banned the commentator last month, claiming her work could potentially get people killed.
